Listen "Episode 24 Rebecca Stavick & Do Space!"
Episode Synopsis
Have you heard of Do Space in Omaha Nebraska? You should! Rebecca Stavick is a Librarian, Civic Hacker, Maker, and the Executive Director of Do Space. Rebecca comes to us via FaceTime from Omaha and chats about what happens at Do Space, a unique community based and privately funded space for anyone to have access to computers and maker equipment. Do Space also provides classes for coding and other digital media. Rebecca is providing exposure and access – bridging the “digital divide”. She also talks to TLP about what libraries can do to bridge that divide and provide services to patrons without breaking the budget!
