Finances are so closely correlated with communication, and the degree to which you can communicate will have a dramatic impact on your financial situation.  Communication:  share or exchange information, news, or ideas. commerce:  social intercourse : interchange of ideas, opinions, or sentiments. Exchange or buying and selling of goods and services  As you can see by the two definitions, they are very similar! If you are good at communicating ideas and information, you will have the propensity to be good at exchanging goods and services because you will be able to communicate your ideas in a convincing way.  The breakdown of how to communicate is this:  Cause, Distance, Effect with attention, intention, and understanding.  When you communicate with someone you are attempting to be a cause and produce a desired effect in that other person across a distance. Try saying hi to someone without producing an effect in them, its impossible, right?  So the next time you are communicating with a client or an audience of potential clients, you must understand the effect that you are trying to cause in them. You have to understand the way you want them to feel and what information you want them to obtain, and deliver. You have to get their attention, make sure that you are intentional about communicating something understandable, and that they have intentions of receiving the communication you are trying to send.
