Newly hired Ole Miss women's basketball head coach Yolette McPhee-McCuin, better known as "Coach Yo" joined me in a wide-ranging conversation.

We discuss her time at Jacksonville and how she found success at a place that hadn't had much of that before her time there. We also discuss her Ole Miss team, her expectations and the difficulties she faced (and still faces) after taking the job.

Also discussed is her place as a female head coach and what she hopes to do as a successful woman in her position. That conversation also included how race places into things and the racial history of the state of Mississippi.
