Listen "Quran of Waseem Rizvi - An Analysis"

Episode Synopsis

While a discussion on Waseem Rizvi's Qur'an minus 26 original verses is welcome, the foundational argument appears to be weak. The result is that even though it is likely to excite a lot of interest among the non-Muslims, it has little by way of challenging the Islamic fundamentals of naskh (Mansookh), and the right meaning to the verses like 5.32 and 109.6. Singling out only 2.191, 3.151, 4.56, 4.89, 4.101, 5.14, 5.51, 5.57, 8.65, 8.69, 9.5, 9.14, 9.23, 9.28, 9.29, 9.37, 9.58, 9.111, 9.123, 21.98, 32.22, 33.61, 41.27, 41.28, 48.20, 66.9, and leaving out at least another 140-150 equally offensive verses is also not quite explained.
