There are so many extra obligations in December, gifts to buy, functions to attend, magic to create, and perfect memories to be made! It overwhelms our minds, our nervous system and our wallets!On top of this, in December I find myself spending a lot of time reflecting on where I am VS where I thought I would be. Thoughts like "Another year has gone by and I still haven't renovated my laundry!" or "I still haven't gotten on top of my housework" or "My savings haven't improved as much as I hoped" As we age, we look to financial security as something we simply need to be ok, it becomes of deeper importance and again its like "oh shit! What am I doing?"It can be a really testing time when it comes to comparison too!
