I can't tell you the amount of times I have overheard someone talking about how much they hate their job, I always wonder what they are really doing about it? Don't expect that just because you're posting stuff online that you're going to be a success. The build it and they will come advice sucks.

Google Alerts is one of them, the site IFTTT.com is another great tool that can keep you on top of latest developments in your industry and maximize your social media activities if you don't have a team that works for you.
