Listen "E200 - The Two Types of People - How To Demonstrate Confidence as a Podcaster"
Episode Synopsis
Episode 200 - The Two Types of People - How To Demonstrate Confidence as a Podcaster
Dave does an exaggerated, self-indulgent intro to shed light on podcasters that puff themselves up in their podcast - a little tongue and cheek, but it seems in podcasting that some podcasters are way to inwardly focused at the expense of those that they come in contact with - what type of person are you when you enter the room, join a conversation or host your show?
Be a more confident podcaster by making the choice to move from a "Here I Am" person to a "There You Are" person.
Self-aggrandizing is acting or intending to enhance one's power, wealth, position, or reputation - this elevation of oneself over others repels and does not compell your audience to lean in to you as a person or to your podcast.
We need to create a space that invites others in - make your show about others and everyone will benefit!
