Listen "Episode 27: When you've been told everything is "normal" and you know it's not!"
Episode Synopsis
Let’s talk about those “normal results”! In today’s episode I jump in and talk about why your test results can be “normal” yet you feel anything BUT! And most importantly what you can choose to do about it… It seems that menopause is getting more airtime, which is great but perimenopause still seems to be a mystery to all and barely discussed. It even comes up on autocorrect as an unknown word! (I know this because I type it 1000 times a day!) but from my perspective, it’s PERI menopause that does the real damage to a woman and her relationships and the sooner we support your hormones, the better the transition through menopause. I’m certainly not diminishing the rough time that women experience during menopause at all, but menopause is more understood and there seems to be a better understanding of medical treatments but there’s crickets chirping when it comes to perimenopause. The good news is, there is a lot we can do from a diet and lifestyle perspective, and most importantly how we manage our stress. Today we look at what works for women who are wanting to make a change and know that they deserve better. I promise that you DO NOT have to accept that this is “just the way it is”.
