Prior to becoming president, Eric helped in the formation of Harrisburg University as a consultant and then became the founding Vice President of Finance and Administration. Harrisburg University is best known for its innovative approach to integrating STEM education with economic development. Founded in 2011, Harrisburg University became the first independent science and technology-focused nonprofit university established in Pennsylvania in over 100 years. Under President Darr's leadership, enrollment has grown from 500 students to 6,000 students and over 33 undergraduate and graduate concentration and degree programs have been added.
