This week begins the season of Christmas, with Christmas Eve falling on Sunday, December 24th, 2023. The good word for Christmas Eve comes from Luke 2: 1-20 which is, perhaps one of the most well known stories in scripture.  God's greatest gift comes as a baby in a manger. Angels announce the good news of great joy to lowly shepherds, and the angels continue to proclaim God's blessing of peace upon the whole world. Filled with the Light that shines in our lives, we go forth to share the Light of Christ with the whole world.
