Episode Synopsis
Carole Edmond, CEO and Founder of Glassmoon, is joined by Oke Eleazu, CEO at Many Pets, in this introductory episode. Oke provides an insightful look into his career, and shares his personal work/life values. He explains that start-ups are inherently unpredictable, and that success is not guaranteed. Drawing on his own experience, Oke speaks about the exponential growth that unicorn business, Many Pets, has seen over the last 6/7 years, emphasising the importance of creating a customer-centric culture which begins with the leadership team and is lived by every employee in the company.
Oke and Carole discuss the importance of setting a good example, noting that the standard you walk by is the standard you accept and how important it is to call out discriminatory behaviour.
