In this study of King David’s life, we highlight six voices, or influences, to which David responded.  Those same influences, or relationships, are present in our lives today!  How we respond to each voice shapes our character and determines our position—hopefully to be where God has designed—in the right place at the right time!
In this final lesson of the series, we address the concept of recognizing when God is speaking to you, or directing your steps.  God spoke to Moses, David and Elijah in different ways but each was confident that they heard from God.  God leads us as the Good Shepherd and we can tune our hearts to recognize His voice.  When we know that we have heard from God, it changes the way we think, the way we speak and the way we act.
