We live in a world where everyone seems to have their own truth.  According to the world, there is no absolute truth!  But David understood otherwise.  He prayed, “Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to Your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor You,” Psalm 86:11. The phrase, “Grant me purity,” means to be undivided, to be united.  David’s prayer was to be to be united with God’s truth in his heart so that he could honor God with his attitudes and actions.
