Listen "Episode 28 - Part 1: Suzanne Jandu"
Episode Synopsis
The Framestore Podcast, our learning and talent development focused podcast made by Framestore, for Framestore, is back this week with another fantastic new episode.
Every two weeks on Mondays, we welcome a special guest to the pod to answer questions about their inspirations, work at our studio, and career journey via the Framestore Podcast 'dailies' questions. Then, the following Thursday, we invite a guest 'co-host' from our global community to take over, engaging our guest in a deeper dive conversation for a valuable learning experience.
This week's special guest is Suzanne Jandu, Head of 2D, Integrated Advertising.
Suzanne launched her career in 1998 at MBM / Studio 345 as a Lighting TD and Compositor, going on to climb the ranks from Compositor to Lead, Supervisor, and now Head of Department. Her career journey spans various Toronto and Montreal studios, along with notable stops at Meteor Studios, Weta, MPC, ILM, and her current position at Framestore since 2018.
Her extensive portfolio includes remarkable commercial work, major films, TV shows, and even the James Bond, No Time To Die credits! Noteworthy projects range from Weta's King Kong, MPC's VFX Oscar winner The Jungle Book, and ILM's Jurassic World, to Framestore's contributions to Jingle Jangle, Invasion, His Dark Materials, Wheel of Time, and Black Mirror. Not forgetting some incredible work in Framestore IA, particularly 3Mobile, and the excellent Paramount+ Promo!
This week's guest co-host is Sterling Tipton, a Compositor at our Montreal Studio, whose career path kicked off at MPC in 2015 and quickly grew momentum with roles at Framestore, 5th Wall, Method, then back to Framestore, with credits to her name that include Loki, Tom & Jerry, Detective Pikachu, Deadpool 2 and Barbie.
We hope you enjoy this weeks 'comp special' episode!
