Our mission in our time on earth (TOE) is to serve our Master’s interest. We are to redeem our TOE wisely. “Walk circumspectly, not as a fool but be wise and redeem our time because the days are evil” (Eph 5:15-16). The key is staying filled with the Holy Spirit and thus being controlled by the Holy Spirit. This is a requirement to perceive and apply the Word of God. “That the Father of glory may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray the eyes of your understanding will be enlightened” (Eph 1:17-20). “Study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needs not to be ashamed rightly diving the word of truth” (2 Tim 2:15). Our mission is revealed to us as we study His Word, the Bible.
