When you learn the mind of Christ then you can live a Christ-like life. “Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me” (Matt 11:29). You must learn the Word of God. “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.” (2 Tim 2:15). The Bible is God’s living Word to you! Knowing the Word is the power line in your soul. In every adversity of life, the Word of God is your strength. It is your power. But if you don’t learn it, you can’t use it. When you hear and apply the teaching of the Bible, it molds your thinking, it forms you. “Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God” (Eph 6:17). The Word of God gives you your very life.
