Nowhere in Scripture are we told to have human mentors to guide us through the devil’s world. Your mentor is God the Holy Spirit. You need to learn the mechanics of the spiritual life and the iron for this to happen is a well-qualified pastor plus the filling of the Holy Spirit, not a fellow Christian.
