We must have patience with people and circumstances. The Holy Spirit produces patience in the form of a relaxed mental attitude which is where joy comes from. “Rest in the Lord” (Ps 37:7). Rest means having a relaxed mental attitude. “Be strengthened with His might of all His glory, for all patience and long-suffering with joy” (Col 1:10-12). Patience is the capacity to endure evil, adversity and pain with fortitude. Patience grows in testing and undeserved suffering.
