Wisdom comes from the instruction of God’s Word designed to be taught by a pastor and learned through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Solomon told his son “You will die from lack of instruction” (Prov 5:23) We are to live by God’s instruction. The Word of God is designed to give you a wonderful, fulfilling life. This is how to not make bad decisions—get divine wisdom from Biblical instruction. “Listen to advice and accept instruction so that you may gain wisdom in the future” (Prov 19:20). God’s instruction includes His establishment of the divine institutions of the individual with volitional freedom, marriage, family and nationalism. Adherence to these divine institutions is how the human race is preserved and perpetuated.
