One of Satan’s traps is to get you out of sync with God’s timing due to your impulsive behavior. Impulsiveness is the act of doing something without thinking it through. Impulsiveness will destroy your destiny. If Satan can cause confusion and controversy, he can divide and conquer. The number one flaw in the Christian life is arrogance and often impulsive behavior is part of this flaw. Think before you speak or act. You must live by thinking not by emoting. Emotions are the enemy of thought. “A fool expresses all of his emotions but a wise person controls them” (Prov 29:11). A wise person is the one who has the divine viewpoint of the mentality of Christ and he controls his emotions. Wisdom gives you understanding, discernment and insight.
