We all have failures, frustrations, and flaws. Some flaws are inherited and some are acquired. The key is to deal with sin. Confess your sin to God, move on, and don’t look back. “Forgetting those things which are behind me, I reach forward to those things which are ahead” (Phil 3:13). Let go of the past—guilt is a sin. If you are a Christian, it doesn’t matter what you’ve done, God will forgive you. If you fail to adhere to God’s protocol and procedures and go off down the My Way Highway it’s inevitable you’ll have problems in your life and you’ll miss the plan of God for your life. Failing spiritually means not advancing, not growing. Live the spiritual life and you can overcome the past. “Happiness belongs to those people who hear My Father’s Word and keep it” (Luke 11:27-28).
