Dr. Salisha Allard-Blaisdell hails from the island of Grenada, but was adopted in the USA. Now, she is paving the way in her family, friends and colleagues by being the first person in her doctoral cohort at Northwest to complete the Ph.D. degree, then became the first woman of color to defend a Ph.D. dissertation at Northwest University.
