We welcomed Herlene Yu, Singapore's back to back to back Triathlon National Champion to the red seats this week.Originally a talented swimmer on the Singapore National Team, Herlene made the switch to triathlon as a teenager as an alternative to the long hours in the pool. After two major accidents that could have easily derailed her triathlon career, Herlene has shown grit and determination to come back each time and stay on top step. Even as a final year physiotherapy student in Western Australia, Herlene still manages to stick to her program of 20+ hours a week in training.
