Matthew 3.1-17



When we say that Jesus is it, it means we recognize who he is, that he is the embodiment of the law, the fulfillment of the Law, the standard of the Law. Often the modern church misspeaks about the law making it the standard to which Jesus had to rise in order to save us, but this is a fundamental misunderstanding of who Jesus is, what the Law is, and how Jesus fulfills it all.
