Narelle’s view on engagement is that it doesn’t need to be perfect but it does need to frequent. Even when we don’t have all the information it’s important for leaders to share what they know.
“In the absence of information people are smart, they will form their own views on what’s happening that may or may not be right.”
She also poses a fabulous question when speaking with staff individually and that is “how do I help you be at your best, even in times of change?”.
