The Desire2Grow will focus on all aspects of growth from spiritual, physical, and mental helping us improve our relationships, careers, and hobbies. I am very excited to finally launch my podcast. In Episode 0 I'll be introducing myself Samdish(the host) and why I want to start the podcast. I shot this all in one take to stay as genuine as possible and am confident my abilities as a podcaster will get better as times goes on. I talk about my story of going from narrow-minded and depressed to happy and open-minded and how this helped me from barely getting into University to landing a job I love at one of the largest financial institutions in Canada.
Season 1 will focus on interviewing Gen Z and Millenials who have not only broken into their industry but have found success along their path. As we are in a pandemic. I have many friends who are struggling to get into their desired educational program or career. As in-person networking is limited I am hoping to learn from these individuals' experiences and get tips on how they got where they are today. This in turn will help those understand the dynamic around different corporations/businesses today and what the industry looks for in new talent.
