Today, Cardinal Sarah talks about how we as humans will avoid the battle what will ensue in the face-to-fact encounter with God. Why? Because we think that we will lose our self, our identity if we become silent and sit in silence with God.From my many years on Active Duty in the Marine Corps, the strongest and successful leaders prided themselves in keeping the unit operating in harmony. Confrontation was not something they entered freely and without long contemplation. When entering a battle to resolve conflict the result had to be worth any potential lose.That is truly the opposite of what will happen because the result is worth the lose of our earthly identity which will replace it, the identity of being a child of God.There is no battle on this earth that we can fit alone and if we do think like that we have already lost; John chapter 15 says, “I can do nothing without God”. The fact of the matter is, it is not if we will experience a spiritual battle but “when” we do, dawning the Armor of God is our best defense.Take away; Sit and medicate on Ephesians chapter 6 10-18; it tells us about the amor of God, consider how you can employ this armor when the time of battle presents itself.Today is the second day of the Women’s Cursillo weekend.
