Genesis 26- God reaffirms His covenant promises to Isaac during a famine, just as He had with Abraham. Isaac settles in Gerar, where he repeats his father’s mistake by claiming Rebekah is his sister out of fear for his life. Despite this, God blesses Isaac abundantly, and he becomes very wealthy, stirring envy from the Philistines. We can sow in famine, but the real blessing is obedience to God.
