Michigan Panthers kicker Jake Bates put on a show over the weekend when he kicked back to back 64 yard field goals to give Michigan their first win of the season. Bates hasn’t kicked a field goal since high school and then he calmly strolled on the field and effortlessly nailed the long kick fully knowing that the UFL could be his ticket to the NFL. After the kick, reports indicate that numerous NFL teams have reached out to the Panthers to inquire about the kicker including the Detroit Lions.
