Red Wings fans got some really good news yesterday as the team announced that they successfully extended Patrick Kane to a one-year deal. It was thought to be that Kane wanted multiple years however at the end of the day he came back to the Motor City for just one. Considering Kane is trying to win another Cup and is in his mid-30’s, you’d assume he was given some assurances before signing on with the Red Wings for another season. Because Kane chose Detroit, does it means that the Red Wings are choosing to go all in this offseason. So who’s next? Jeff Riger believes he knows the answer and it’s a huge name!
