Listen "The Great Shepherd, Godly Leadership, and Grace for the Journey"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we close out our journey through Hebrews with a rich New Covenant perspective on Hebrews 13:17–25. We explore how the Jewish understanding of leadership, obedience, and covenant is fulfilled and transformed in Christ, our Great Shepherd. We’ll see why submission to godly leadership is not about control but about mutual joy in the gospel, and how grace equips us for every good work. We’ll also reflect on the eternal covenant, sealed in the blood of Christ, that sustains our daily walk.
In the Second Pour, we celebrate birthdays for Jessica Morales (alumni) and current students Andrew in 11th grade, Stella in kindergarten, and Cameron in kindergarten. Each one is a reminder of the joy and blessing that comes from walking together as a school family under the care of the Shepherd who holds all our days.
Whether you’re a leader, a student, or simply someone walking in faith, this episode offers encouragement, clarity, and a reminder of the grace that is always with us.
