Listen "The God Who Delivers: Faith in the Valley and Joy in the Family"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we open The First Pour with a powerful look at 1 Samuel 17:19–37, where David’s courage in the Valley of Elah reminds us that true victory comes not from our own strength, but from the God who delivers His people. We’ll explore how David’s trust in God’s covenant faithfulness points to the ultimate deliverance we find in Christ and how that truth still shapes the way we face life’s battles today.
Then, in The Second Pour, we celebrate the heartbeat of our Berean family—our students, alumni, and staff. We’ll catch up on belated birthdays, lift up our current celebrations, enjoy the promise of Teriyaki Chicken for lunch, and cheer on our Golf Team competing at Bayonet at Puppy Creek. Together, it’s a reminder that faith and family are never far apart when Christ is at the center.
