Listen "The God Who Cannot Be Manipulated"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we open The Holy Spirit’s Water with a look at 1 Samuel 6:1–9, where the Philistines struggle under God’s hand after seizing the Ark of the Covenant. Their attempt to send it back with golden offerings reminds us of humanity’s constant temptation to treat God as someone who can be bargained with or controlled. Yet in Christ, the true Guilt Offering, we find that God cannot be manipulated—He is holy, sovereign, and fully sufficient.
In The Second Pour, we celebrate three special birthdays: Grace Dundore (alumni), Brandon (12th grade), and Jacob (Kindergarten). Today’s lunch is pasta with meat sauce, and we’re excited to welcome back Awana at Berean Baptist Church this evening.
Join us for a time of encouragement, reflection, and community life as we walk together in faith.
