Listen "Anointed and Empowered: Saul’s Beginning and Christ Our King"
Episode Synopsis
In today’s Coffee with the Superintendent, we open God’s Word to 1 Samuel 10:1–16 where Saul is anointed as Israel’s first king. We’ll explore how his calling, signs, and transformation foreshadow the greater anointing of Christ, the true King who reigns forever. This New Covenant perspective reminds us that while Saul’s reign would falter, Christ’s obedience and reign never fail. In the Second Pour, we celebrate birthdays for Grace Hall, Tsehai in 3rd grade, London in 1st grade, and Mrs. Aneesah Robinson, our preschool teacher. Lunch brings hot dogs and tater tots, and our boys Varsity Soccer and Football teams take the field against Freedom Christian and Community Christian School. Join us for encouragement, celebration, and a reminder of the King who never disappoints.
