Listen "Anchored in an Unchanging Christ"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode of Coffee with the Superintendent, we open the First Pour with Hebrews 13:7-9, a passage that reminds us to remember the leaders who faithfully taught us God’s Word, to imitate their faith, and to anchor our lives in the unchanging Christ. In a world full of shifting trends and strange teachings, the call to be strengthened by grace—not rituals or passing ideas—is as urgent today as it was for the early church. We’ll explore the Jewish mindset behind this exhortation, the New Covenant’s emphasis on Christ’s finished work, and how the Holy Spirit empowers us to live faithfully in modern times. Then in the Second Pour, we catch up on several special birthdays from August 2nd through August 4th, celebrating our alumni and current Bulldogs.
