Episode Synopsis "Double Down On Content That Is Working Well For You"
A good strategy when you’re putting out content is to double-down on types of content that are working well. I’ve noticed recently that my content on SMS marketing is doing well. It trended on LinkedIn and got traction on Twitter as well. It’s something people are thinking about and ready to discuss. So I created more content on the subject. Doubling down on content that’s working can be really helpful. But what that doesn’t mean is just to keep shoveling out the same content over and over. Stay within the topic or category, but attack it from different angles. If you find that something is working, keep that in the back of your mind and when you get ideas that are related to that topic, prioritize those. One thing that I have noticed is that you never really know what content is going to work and what isn’t going to do well. In the past, I have felt like once I addressed a topic I didn’t want to go back and revisit it because I don’t want to beat a dead horse. But if you have another take or a new perspective within that category, keep doubling down on what’s working.
