Episode Synopsis

Throughout the late 19th and early 20th century, the United States was plagued by hundreds of grisly murders, all committed with the same terrifying weapon, an ax. Between 1911 and 1912, a string of ax murders occurred in western Louisiana and eastern Texas that police came to believe were the work of a most unlikely serial killer--an 18 year old girl, who some believe may have been the leader of a deadly voodoo cult, dedicated to committing blood sacrifice with the ax.
