It's another scammer episode!This time I got a lot of calls from people claiming to be my cable company. Scammers are taking advantage of the fact that people are furious about cable/Internet rates. They apologized for all the high rates, and offered to give me a refund. They're hoping you give them your cable account number, your bank account number, or credit card number.One lady couldn't remember if she was impersonating Spectrum or Verizon. One guy called me (answering as Foghorn Leghorn) and tried to get me to hand over a verification code (which he would've used to hijack all my accounts).I then call up a fake Support Scammer number and tell him my name is Ricky Ricardo. Hilarity ensues, unbeknownst to him.Finally, a Student Loan scammer said he would help me apply directly to the government. I informed him that if he was acting as my intermediary, then I would be applying indirectly, wouldn't I?Hope you love it and tell your friends!
