Student Host Audrey Norton sits down with Dr. Megan McFarlane ('06) as she shares about the exciting field of Health Communication. Dr. McFarlane is a leading health communication scientist at MITRE and currently serves as an adjunct professor in the communication department at Vanguard University. Her recent independent research project investigates maternity and pregnancy experiences of active-duty U.S. servicewomen and particularly focuses on healthcare delivery, equity, and access. She has won national and institutional awards for her scholarship which has been published in journals including BMC Public Health, Qualitative Health Communication, Women's Studies in Communication, and Organization.
