Listen "008 - Cultivating Care: Creating Home with Care Practices"
Episode Synopsis
Today, I talk about Care Practices in home creation, which is the sixth lesson in the First Foundation of Home: Mindset & Motivation.
In this episode, we look at what care practices really are, how they benefit us in our homes, how they are tied into the eight dimensions of wellness and how we can incorporate them into our home creation through plans and routines.
Here’s a recap:
Care Practices are essentially practices that align actions with dimensions of wellness and self love. Engaging in intentional care practices means taking the time to do things that help us live well and improve overall health.
Care practices increase happiness levels, productivity and confidence. They affect how we think, feel, act and even respond in any given situation.
When we operate from a place of engaging in regular care practices and meeting our needs, we can give so much more to ourselves, our work, our people and our homes.
A great way to incorporate care practices into our homes is with intentional home plans and routines that prioritize our well-being by balancing care practices with key household tasks.
We dive into Care Practices further in the First Foundation of Home: Mindset & Motivation. And we dive into Home Plans and Routines in the Third Foundation of Home. Both of which are within the Holistic Home Method.
