Guitar World Magazine called Alex Skolnick one of the greatest guitarists of all time and in this episode, he joins us from New York City to talk about his illustrious music career. Alex was one of the founding members of heavy metal band Testament, who along with Metallica and Exodus were among the biggest heavy metal bands to come out of the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1980's. Alex would later go on to study jazz music and form his own jazz trio and also play with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
