Cudahy Memorial Library at Loyola is home to a mural titled “New Lands Explored and Evangelized by Fathers of the Society of Jesus”, with depictions of early Jesuit activity in the Great Lakes region. This mural will be updated over the next five years due to students’ concerns about the painting’s contrasting alignment with Loyola’s values. How does the university plan to enact these changes?
