Episode Synopsis
Specialist small animal surgeon Abbie Tipler joins Simon and Duncan from Brisbane Australia! Abbie set up the small animal surgery discussion group on Facebook in 2015, it now has 9000 members from all over the world discussing surgical cases. We hear about Abbie's career, how she set the group up and how she maintains it. We also discussed women in orthopaedics - how do we encourage more female vets into orthopaedics? Then we all chatted about two interesting papers on humeral intracondylar fissures in French Bulldogs.
