In this video I compare Jesus to a stairway that leads to heaven and I mentioned other metaphors in the Bible that say Jesus is the Vine and the Door. I forgot to mention that Jesus, according to the holy scriptures the Bible, says Jesus is "The Way" not just another way. Big difference here philosophically or theologically speaking wouldn't you agree? Ok.
I also describe my life as a professing Christian and that for many years I really had no fear of the Lord and so I doubted my salvation and questioned if I was truly converted. When I first thought I was saved I didn't even know that Jesus was God in the flesh until my pastor taught me this truth. I made a profession of faith at age 14 and began memorizing many scriptures starting with Proverbs 15:1-3 from an old Bible my great grandmother gave me while I lived in a foster home.
After moving to Hollywood and losing just about everything materially speaking I visited a graveyard in my hometown of Stockton, Ca and the Lord revealed to me just how bad and sinful I was and that was a turning point for me. All my relatives were dead and yet the Lord allowed me to live even though I was a worse sinner than any of my relatives. I had a name but I was "dead" spiritually speaking. After this experience, like the apostle Pau,l I started preaching in the streets and college campuses...wherever the Spirit led me.
