Jon Huertas was born on October 23, 1969 in New York, New York, USA as Jon William Scott Hofstedt. He is an actor and producer, known for This Is Us (2016), Castle (2009) and Generation Kill (2008).
In real life, Jon Huertas is an Air Force veteran. Many of his TV and movie credits are of characters with active or past Marine background: Ramirez, a Marine Recon Sniper Spotter in JAG, Recon Marine Sergeant Espera in Generation Kill, Homicide NYPD Detective Javier Esposito in Castle, retired Marine Sergeant Jack Kale in NCIS.
