Episode Synopsis

I made this about three weeks ago, but it just blessed me and hope it blesses you. On this weeks walk and talk with Rae…Forgetting the former things, unlearning old things and letting go, all require work . It’s not an easy journey but it is required if we want to grow. Sometimes we hold onto attitudes, mindset, people, situations, heartbreaks, pain, etc. but no matter what it is, I encourage you to let it go. Letting go is a hard process and something that I work through every single day, so if you’re in that space right now I want you to know you’re not alone. The verse that I mentioned comes from Isaiah 43:18-20 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”This is a reminder that we have to let go  in order to make room for more. Maybe we are making room for more wisdom, more discernment, an open door, an opportunity, or a relationship, but the truth is… we won’t know until we let go.  Just like I mentioned about my phone storage not allowing me to make room for more videos, the same goes for us if we don’t let things go. I realize that when we dwell on the past, we miss out on life and opportunities. Our past is meant to teach us, but it’s not meant to be a life sentence. So this is for anyone who’s struggling with guilt, shame, uncertainty, bitterness, hurt, disappointment , or whatever else you’re going through… let it go because you don’t have to carry it any longer. Cry through , talk about it , pray about it but let it go. So I leave with this question :Every day you have a choice…so what will you choose today? To move forward or to stay stuck. To settle or to grow.  To let go or to hold on?Song of the week 🎶: Unlearning - by Lizzie Morgan Send us a textSupport the showWebsite link:https://thebreakingmomentpodcast.buzzsprout.com/
