For this week's episode, I invited Tatni Zamora to talk about her life in Mexico. She explains how there's a Mexico for tourists and Mexico for Mexicans, spicy food, traditions, some misconceptions, and the warmth of the people.
We also talk about how Mexicans feel about Mexico being a vacation spot for people in the US, if Mexicans feel cultural appropriation in different ways from other nationalities, how Cinco de Mayo isn't even a holiday in Mexico, a situation of prejudice she's been in while visiting the US, and much more.
