Pastor Calvin Reed continues his series on the kings God raised up to rule Israel following the time of the Judges. The books of I Kings follows II Samuel, beginning with the waning days of King David's life and covers King Solomon's rule, the split of the kingdom into Israel and Judah, and the succession of kings that ruled each kingdom. The book contains numerous reminders of God's providence and sovereignty, as well as the importance of following His will for our life and seeking to worship him in accordance with His Word.
