Listen "THE BLUFF COUNCIL PODCAST: Ep. 33 - "Kingpin""
Episode Synopsis
Our Top Ten Favorite Films Lists continue to evolve as Keith adds the 1996 Farrelly Bros. comedy "Kingpin" to the number five slot. The film fell right between "Dumb & Dumber" and "There's Something About Mary" during the Farrelly Bros. amazing 1990's run, but do you regard it as a classic? Keith certainly does. In this episode, Keith and Ev review Kingpin and discuss how the film is remembered, why the high stakes of the film matter so much to the comedy, and Ev attempts to convince Keith that Randy Quaid is miscast. Also, we worship at the altar of Bill Murray as Big Ern' McCracken. The film stars Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid, Vanessa Angel, and Bill Murray. Who wants to go bowling!?
