Samantha Blackmon (she/her) is a parent, gamer of more than 4 decades, and games researcher who studies rhetoric at the intersection of video games and identity politics. She loves playing games with her daughter and talking about games with anyone else who will listen or watch on stream (mixer.com/saffista). She is passionate about games and making the games community a more inclusive space. Samantha loves video games, books, crafting, and coffee, definitely coffee.
